Scenic Rim Challenge places open

Places are now open to join Childhood Dementia Initiative and Inspired Adventures’ trekking adventure through the iconic Scenic Rim. 

The trek will take participants through Queensland’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforests while raising vital funds to urgently disrupt the impact of childhood dementia.

From the summit of Mount Cordeaux to subtropical rainforests teeming with native wildlife, every step challenge participants take through Queensland’s Scenic Rim will give children with dementia and their families the gift of time and support as they navigate diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care.

No extensive trekking experience is required prior to registering, however this challenge is designed for people who are relatively fit and willing to train. The Scenic Rim trek is aphysical challenge, involving trekking approximately 20 kilometres over two days. The fitter you are, the more you’ll enjoy the experience.
